I was wondering how hard is it to go from a 2 speed powerglide to a Turbo 350 transmission. Will the 350 turbo just bolt up to where the powerglide was? If not what needs to be done to put it in.

The th350 will bolt right up to the engine.
The problems are in the length's The P-glide with a short tail section is 24 1/4". Long tail is 27 1/2". A TH350 with the short tail is 27 5/8" and a long tail is 30 5/8".
If you have a long tail P-glide and a short tail TH350 the drive shaft should be OK. If not, You will need a new one. You will also need to move your trans crossmember. But this is no problem, There are different holes in the frame for this.

Chad I have done a few of these swaps. If you are talking about a chevelle PG then the short tail shaft T350 is only a 1/8" longer and everything bolts right up. you will not have to move anything.

The main problems you will have are the shift linkage depending on your current setup (floor or column). conversion kits for this are available to get the proper D 2 1 locations. you will also have to convert to a cable transmission kick-down.

Got another question then, where would you get the conversion kits for the shift linkage being that it is a column setup and a cable for a transmission kick-down also how hard is that to do. I am sorry if i ask to many questions I just want to make sure I get the right stuff and do it right. Thanks

Heres the TV cable and bracket you will need.

You may also need the linkage for the carb to connect the TV cable

I used a B &M "Slap Stick" on the floor on my conversion. Ran the cable thru the floor to the linkage. Works out well.
