Hey guys, first off happy Easter. Here's the issue, yesturday I started getting ready to pull my 350 out of my 69 chevelle and I was shocked on how difficult it was to remove the two last bolts out of each header. On top of that, you cant even access the spark plugs while the headers are on (I have no idea how I would change the plugs in future). I need to know if most headers are like this or did I buy the car with a bunk set (Only had it 2 weeks)? If headers are like that generally, am I better off throwing manifolds on?

Just so you know, here is my plan with the car. I am in the process of doing a frame off, part of the plan is to get the motor compartment painted too, but with these headers I dont have a lot of room and the thought of scratching ANYTHING putting this current set up back in scares me). Also, I want the car to run strong and sound good, but with the $ I am putting into it, I dont want to be racing every import I see, I plan to just "cruise" the car. Thanks!
