Hello - I have a tilt column and the date on the tilt portion is stamped 193 4. Does this mean the column is dated 193 day of 1964? And are the 64 and 65 columns the same. I thought 65 was a one year only.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

If I am not mistaken, 1964, 1965, 1966 and 1967 Tilt Columns are all different. 1967 Introduced the Hazzard Switch on the column.
When I purchased my 1964 Column, I was told that it was different from 1965.
Hopefully someone else can give the specific differences.
Do you have a 64 or 65 Chevelle?

It was pulled off a 65 chevelle convertible. But the numbers on the tilt column have 193 4, assuming it means 193 day of 1964?

192 would be July 12
That could be 65 production?
