What is the best unit to buy? How hard are they to install if you have above average mechanical abilities?

When I was looking for an aftermarket A/C system (about two years ago) the only kit specifically designed for a '70 was made by Classic Auto Air. Don't know if that has changed. I did not do all of the installation. A friend who happens to be a Vintage Air distributor handled most of the work. He said the instructions were clear and eveything fit as advertised. Unit works well.

I put a Vintage Air Sure Fit Kit in my 67. Good instructions, everything fit and worked.
