Looks like you are making some real progress there should be a nice car when its all said and done. As far as the vredstein tires go my friend just got some for his Z06 because he heard so many good things he should have them mounted sometime next week. I will let you know what he thinks.

awesome man! do me a favor and let me know how awesome it is when ur done, i still have atleast a month till im done and would like to know what to expect. Oh and if anybody would like to know what all im doin, Im installing 1 1/4" front sway bar 1" rear. UMI boxed lower and tubular upper rear trailing arms, poly front end rebuild kit, Tokico shocks, eibach pro kit springs, tires are obvious, complete rewire including new fuse panel, and covans dash.

ill let you know.
but i have black magic circle track springs with adjusters and revalved bilstein shocks. stock a arms though. springs are 550/175.. should be similar, but the height in the front is adjustable. rear springs are 11" tall with no spacers or anything (tucks a 26" tire).
i hope to have it on the road in the next month, i will let everyone know what i think of it.

good luck man.

Went to the track this weekend and my friend ran pretty decent on those Vredsteins much better than his worn out Pilot Sport 2s. However, I was surprised how round the tread is, he aired them down to 25 and they still weren't getting a full contact patch. The tire still hooked good and he even got a 1.88 60'.

Ok well i got the rear suspension completely done now...

Just curious, why aren't you sanding and painting the frame/underside of your car so it looks as good as those fresh parts you're installing?

Regards.

im just doin the fun studd right now, if i was gonna do that, id pull the entire body off and do everything, but ill save that for when i do a complete restoration. Thats how tune ups turn into full blown restorations...

Ok so i got the front suspension put back together today minus the sway bar, it seems some of the holes are too corroded and messed up so im gonna need to retap them and put bigger bolts, has anybody had this problem before or have any suggestions?
