I have a "brushed aluminum"-style Covan Classic dash in my '67. Setting aside for the moment the question of whether I should have one (looks kinda cheap and doesn't fit all that well), I am trying to figure out how to replace a busted glove box lock cylinder and replace it with a new one. The folks at Covan don't seem very interested in returning phone calls or emails and I'm at the point where I just might take the Dremel and a cut- off wheel to the cylinder and be done with it. Of course, that still doesn't solve the problem of the replacement, which is different than the old-style cylinder in all the catalogues. Anyone have any luck with this Covan company? Anybody out there have this dash and know how to remove the cylinder? It doesn't have the usual pinhole next to the lock. Thanks for any and all advice. sr
