I have a 3 core rad in a 67 SS 396 the problem is the car caught fire a melted my shroud. I had the rad recored and bought a repo shroud from NPD.I can;t get it to fit,so i called NPD and they said it was a exact repo, they said it might not be the orginal rad. The rad is 27 inches from mounting hole to hole, When i hold the shroud up in place it is about 3 inches away from the rad cradle. Do i need a mounting kit and can some one tell me what size the rad should be. I know this new shroud don;t look anything like the one that burnt. Anybody got pics of a 67 BB shroud Thanks for any help

Standard 3 core Rads did not get a SHROUD generally. Was/is your car a California Built car? a SMOG Car? or have a Clutch Fan?

the car is a Canadian built car. It don,t have a smog pump or a clucht fan. It had a shroud but the fire melted it. I bought a repo from NPD but it wont fit. They said it was a exact repo but mine was rounded and cliped in at the bottom. How can i tell if it is the org rad. You can't put a bigger one in it will only bolt in ,in one place. The mounting holes in the rad support are 27 inches apaert
