I have a 1971 chevelle and i am getting ready to replace the wiring harness(s) as for the rear lamp harness i was told the easiest way is to remove the rear bumper. I havent started anything yet but i was just looking at the bumper and was trying to figure out how it comes off. I saw 2 bolts behind the plate that i see need to be removed. 2 bolts at the bottom where the retangle holes are that need to be removed. Then i looked inside the trunk and saw 4 more bolts is that everything?

Remove the two bolts there with a 5/8 socket while someone holds the bumper. before pulling it all the way off remove the light sockets by twisting past the tabs. THE BRACKETS COME OFF WITH THE BUMBER. MARK ALL SHIMS THAT COME OUT.. THATS IT.
