I just took out my A/C and put in a cover but still have the vacuum activated vents. There was a round plastic vacuum valve or reserve on the original A/C. Should I retain that and just mount it in the engine bay or would just hooking up the vacuum line directly to the manifold be good enough to operated the vents?
