Has anyone removed the factory clock from a '70 SS without taking the complete dash out of the car? If so, how did you do it. Thanks'

You can take the dash pad off, and remove the printed circuit around the clock, and take out the 3 screws holding the clock. Then remove the clock stem through the clear part of the cluster, with a small screwdriver, and it should come on out. I did it withour removing the dash in my Monte Carlo, to put in a Shiftworks Tach, in the same slot. Hope it helps.

Thanks' for the info Willie, I thought it could come out without removing the whole dash assembly just wasn't sure if it was worth it to do it this way. I now have a project for this weekend.
