I'm 51 y.o. have 3 kids...been married for 28 yrs (same woman :) ). I was a professional commercial driver for 20+ years. Now I'm disabled due to a major stroke I had in 2003. I lost the ability to speak and my right side was paralyzed. The worst thing left over is my aphasia (http://www.aphasia.org/) and having a hard time processing mentally; it's a real problem…so if I don't make any sense; it's just my "word salad" that scrambles my thoughts and my speech and text. So bear with me if I don't speak/type quite as good as I think i do...you'll get my jist.

I've been working on getting my 67 Malibu running and on the road. It's a hassle because alot of things I used to be able to do are a memory...but I'm getting better. I have my best friend of 16 years (ironically; he also had a brain injury in 2006...who knew, eh?) helps me a bunch...he does the work...I just help him helping me anymore. ;)

Welcome aboard John.....Nothing wrong with your choice in cars for sure. I'm with you sometimes my typing only makes sense to me....It was just in the last few years I even started typing and its not on of my strong suits.....Again great to have you here.
