I have the original radiator from my Chevelle.I replaced it with a semi-oem several years ago because the hose fittings had become brittle and cracked at the tanks.Should I toss it or ????. Does it really matter.

There used to be shops that re-cored radiators, back in the good ole days.
And the cost was probably less than buying a new one.
I don't know how common those business' are anymore. My guess is not very. There was a place that was still operating in the late eighties, last I knew, in Lewiston, ME. It was called Lincoln Street Radiator. They did alot of business. Don't know if they still might be operating, but possible.

If it was not terribly expensive, I would have the original refurbished. I'm sure that a pro with a soldering torch could repair yours.
