In ref to b/b 427 flat tappet cam, Int lift .530 -- EX lift .542

At what lift cam does one what to consider the use of long slot rockers.
Thanks

I think around .580"ish.Set your lash and go to max lift.If you can insert a bent paperclip betwen the rocker stud and slot..you are good to go.

I was told Std rockers (stamped H) are good to .500 lift. If your going much above .500 go with long slot, and much above .600 you'll want to go roller rockers (extra long).

Thanks for your imput I'm still doing some research on this.
Starting to get confused finding other recomendation from other sources.
I'm over .500 on both valves .530 and .542, over the last day or two I've been looking at Scorpion or Harland Sharp rollers.

Say..... this a begs question ? Does anyone know what the slot lengths are std slot length vs long slot length.
