Hey guys, Zac (my son) and his family were over for dinner last night and he has checked AGAIN into all options for CB09 (primarily his job), and he still cannot go this year! :sad:
Soooooooooooo, I'm leaving the Okla City area EARLY (6-7am) Tue and will be returning Sun. I'll have an extra bed in my room at the Best Western (which I'm paying for).
If anyone wants to navigate round trip (or caravan) OKC-N'Ville, (and do some part time driving the 70 conv if desired), my offer is still open.

Also, if anyone WITHOUT wheels at CB09 needs a ride, the 70 will be available for a chaufering fee (assist opening headers at the strip :D ).
And, I'm one of the ones planning to go to the Jack Daniels distillery tour Wed am if anyone needs a ride there.

Oh ya, and I'm going to end up with an extra ticket for the BBQ at awards. :thumbsup:

Last year we went down town to eat BBQ at B.B. Kings. Got there and found out that fan fest thing was goign on. Stopped and asked a cop what the best way to get down there was and he said "You don't want to go down there.":D Wound up finding a lot and walkign a ways but made it. Croud was not as bad since there was a concert on the football field they all ran to. We sat in Kings and listened to some great live blues.:hurray: They had a girl that sang Respect just like Aretha.:yes:

Of course the Cajuns cooked one heck of a meal too. :thumbsup: Hope to get there to sample some again this year.
