I was told the tag team knows all the numbers. How about engine ID. I will give you some hints.
:rolleyes:
The number stamped on the block just above the water pump is V0104PHA (cannot find a partial vin).
V=Flint engine plant
0104=Jan 4th engine assembly date
PHA = specific application (suffix code). What does PHA mean?
The block casting number is 14093638.
It is an 87-95 350 non-roller engine (flat tappet, no roller rockers).
Manufacture month for block is Jan.
Heads say 1994.
Could be a Jan 95 engine with late 1994 heads.
Someone said that it most likely has around 9.3:1 compression ratio.
Also, the fact that it's not a roller means it probably wasn’t a Camaro engine.
193 heads which are mid-performance heads 1.94/1.5 valves.

I have lots of pics of the engine. http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/asps4sale@prodigy.net/my_photos
So just exactly what is it and what did it come out of?
Is the info above correct for the numbers shown?
Is there a designation for it like LT1 or something?
I need to know so I know what parts to buy like; do I need a long or short water pump.
I picked this up for $200 and it is going in my 350 69 Elco.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The plot thickens.
PHA is a 1995 truck motor. But could it have come out of an SUV?
