I'll probably get bashed for not doing a search, but I actually did and didn't get the info I need . My dash is still out so I figured this is a great time to change the leaking heater core. What is the best way to attack this project? With AC, BTW if it matters. I ordered a core today and will be installing it Monday. Thanks.

No bashing, but no answers either.

I will be doing mine fairly soon as well. The information listed below is what I've read on the subject doing searches of my own...

The heater core comes out from the inside of the car. You will have to take the inner liner of the glove box out...the kick (vent) panel on the right out...the ducting under the dash for the ac out...the long skinny box (whatever that's called..LOL) that directs the flow of air and has the cables from your dash controls attached to it out

Then you can access the heater core. You also may have to take your right inner fender out to access a bolt or two...

From what I've read it's not a fun job...but while I'm doing mine I am going to get the correct heater hoses and do "some" underhood detailing as well...

BTW, make sure to lube any moving parts that you come across during this process...since you have it apart. Also check the seals on that box thingy:D

Thanks. Sounds okay except for the inner fender part.
