I recently removed the quadrajet off of my chevelle, I know it's not the original because it has a tag on the back that states, "factory remanufactured by holley" these are the numbers stamped on the side 17059288. Does anyone know what type of vehicle this came out of and what year?

9 ~ year
2 ~ Quadrajet (4-bbl) Federal Standards
8 ~ ? I show 0, 1, & 2 for Chevrolet, 4 for Buick, 5 for Olds, 6 and 7 for Pontiac. Maybe 8 is Cadillac?
8 ~ even number is auto trans, odd is manual.
