3869278 is the housing casting number. Some casting numbers were used for multiple years. I do not have a list for you but to verify the year look for the casting date. It is small raised lettering on the center section (cover side). Look at at the 5 or 7 O'clock position next to the cover opening. Will be a letter for month and numbers for day and last digit of year. Yours will look something like I229 for Sept 22nd '69.
