can i use MSD wires from a 454 on a 350? i ask because i had gotten them from someone and they are still new in the package, i'd rather use them than have to buy new ones.

Unless the wires are the custom, cut-to-fit type, the MSD wires will be a little long but they will work fine.
Be sure they have distributor ends compatible with your style cap.

Agree with Bill, they'll be a bit long. As bill suggested make sure they are the type for your distributor type HEI or Points.

Never was mentioned what angle the spark plug ends are but...
Ran MSD 90 degree boot wires on my BB w/headers for years. Fit was much better around header tubes than with a straight boot.
Never burned any wires.

without anything saying otherwise, i just assume that the wires in question are the "proper" 135 degree boots.
those will definitely not be an easy fit on a small block with headers- and if they are the straight boots, they will also not be a very good fit.
