here are all the numbers i could find om y 454 3999289 which i ran and it comes out a 72 to 79 car or truck engine but what im trying to figure out is what it was actually out of and what year it was or for the most part what year the rest of the numbers i found are

if any one can help with that would be great
im missing the power steering bracket and need to order one but im not positive on how to go about ordering it if the casting code say's its from 72threw 79 were they completely the same for those 7 years
and will i be able to go to auto zone and say i need a power steering bracket for a 72threw 79 gm 454
if any one can help mabey take a look at these sights for me caus i cant figure this out everyone keeps sending me web sights and i get the same thing that its a 72-79 454 im guessing that the 820 74 is mabey the date as in october 20 th 1974 but how do i figure out what car it was origionally in
