Why are they 'backward' on the owner's manual? The letters are flipped and read right to left, if you understand what I'm saying. I'm just curious on this. Thanks.

Maybe the worker was dyslexic?

I think they used it like an old credit card machine to make an imprint on paperwork (the old carbon-copies) when the car was brought in to a dealer for service. That why the letters are raised too...
