Where does one find a protect-o-plate on a 70 Chevelle? Do all Chevelles have them or only certain years?
I commonly find Trim Tags, but I don't know where I should be looking for a Protect-o-plate.
Thanks!

It's a metal plate and is attached to the original Owner's Manual.
Basically, it's the automobile's warranty card and was used to imprint dealer repair orders.
Dale has examples shown here on his website...

The P-O-P is a credit card sized metal plate attached to the warranty booklet and had some information about the car, the VIN, engine code, trans code, rear axle code, owners name/address etc. Many times people kept them because they did not want people to get hold of their name and info etc.
