So, after installing the front springs today, I decided to go and fill up the tank for the first time owning the car. I started to get a bad feeling after the 15th gallon and for good reason. I looked under the car and saw a splash of gas come out the front of the tank as I was standing behind the car. I drove back home, about a mile or 2, and gas was leaking all over. It didnt leak when it was half full. Where would the leak most likely be coming from?

What year? Check the vent pipe at the front passenger corner of the tank. It should have a hose attached.

64-67 tanks have the sender mounted on the front side of the tank. 68-up have it mounted on top. Either way, If the seal is bad it will leak. Also as Tom said, There is a vent at the front corner. If the hose is cracked or missing it will leak as well.
If its leaking at the sender. This will fix it. 1964-1972 CHEVELLE FUEL SENDING UNIT LOCKING RING AND GASKET (http://www.ss396.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=chevellecamino&Product_Code=XLR-937&Category_Code=FUELSENDINGUNITS)
If its the vent. Look here. Vapor Return & Vent Lines: (http://www.ss396.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=chevellecamino&Category_Code=VAPORRETURNVENTLINES&sort=&list_all=1)

Heres a picture of my 69 tank. You can see the vent tubes, bottom left. They would be near the top on the right (pas. side) in the car..
Click for large pic.

Ahh, ok. Looking at that tank, I bet the leak is the seal around the sending unit. It came from that area. As far as the vent tubes, are there supposed to be any rubber hose coming off them? What keeps them from spilling gas?

Yes there are hoses that come off and go to a canister mounted behind the upper back seat.

Ok, that might be the prob then.
Thanks!

I have one vent that I can see, and it is not plugged or routed to a cannister. Dont think thats the only prob though. Gonna drop it tomorow.
