I have a 1972 Chevelle I want to lift the rear end without using air shocks so I can put 15 inch Rally wheels on. What are other options? I have already tried putting heavy duty coils on it but only lifted it a 1/2 inch.

Spacers under the springs.....

You must be using an exceptionally wide tire.........1972 Chevelles don't normally need to be raised for clearance when using stock GM rallys.

Agreed. With the correct baclspacing, You can fit a 275/60/15 with ease... I have that size on my 69 with the top tucked 3" up into the wheel well.
