So I installed drop spindles a while back and put the springs that came with the car back in and it sat high. I figured it was just because we didn't have the sheetmetal on with the engine in but those springs weren't budging. After talking about it to many helpful people on this forum like Matt and Steve I finally got it down with a set of circle track springs

5 x 9.5 at 550 lb/in and 2 of the long circle track spring adjusters from speedway

Boy did it make my day. Stance really has a huge effect on a car and I found that out tonight

Here are some shots

The scoops on the side add a nice touch . Are they from a skylark or are they fabbed from scratch?

Looks good! I'm about to do that with my 72 El Camino. I have the 2 inch drop spindles and 1 1/2 inch lower springs from CPP.

I'll be dropping the rear a little too

They were fabbed up from scratch. I made a thread about it a little bit ago called front fender vents.

They might see primer today so Ill have to post more pictures!

I do want to drop the rear a little as well, But would like to find a good spring rate for the back before I monkey with anything. We will see how it goes, but dropping the front end made me want to get it drivable even faster.

Different strokes for different folks

I had one that looked a little like that one time but I replaced the worn out springs and made it look like it was supposed to look.

Looks great dropped in the front. If you don't mind, what size wheel and tire are you running?

Like I said in the other thread, Mike... Looks mean!
Here's a pic of mine with the 9.5" circle track springs and adjusters... This also has SPC uppers and howe tall upper and lower BJs.

I think I am going to have to go with those uppers eventually. I have a pretty radical looking upper A-arm position so looks like ill have to spend the money on it. It will save me money on wearing the outside of my tires off though I think.

We will see.

Alright well I got some pictures of the upper A-arms to show you the angle they are at. Lemme know if you think they will be able to align it?
