I HAVE A 427 ENGINE NO. TO462TRK CAN SOMEONE HELP ME TO FIND OUT WHERE THIS ENGINE CAME FROM THANKS MIKE

elcamino May 4th, 04, 8:19 AM TO462TRK does show as being a 427. It decodes as either a 1973 or 1978 or 1981 truck engine, a 454, max hp rating was 250. To determine what year is really is, you will need the casting number found at the rear of the block below the distributor. TO462TRK T - Tonawanda Engine plant 04 - May 62 is wrong, should be 1 thru 31 for day of month TRK - 454 truck engine | ||
