Another questionfor you smart folk in the Tag Team Corner. My 67 Chevelle SS 396's Cowl Tag seems a little "funky" to me. It Reads:

01c 3461
ST 67-13817 KAN 7773 BODY
TR 731-B F-F PAINT
W 2LGR 5Y

What does the W 2LGR 5Y mean?
What does the 3461 mean?
The 7773 BODY i know is the number of the car that rolled off the line, but does this mean its the 7773rd one off the line or 3rd?!
NEED SOME HELP!!

01C = Third week of January 1967 ( Assembly date )

3461 and 7773 are internal assembly plant tracking numbers ( not what car it was off teh line )

731 = Bright Blue Interior and the B = Bucket seats

KAN = Kansas Assembly plant

FF = Marina Blue Body paint

The rest are option codes:

W = Tinted Windshield Only and that's an Option # 1 Group.

Then within Option grp # 2

L = Four Speed Trans ( not specific to which gear ratio )

G = Console

R = Rear Speaker

5 is Option Grp # 5 and Y within that group = Deluxe seatbelts

The VIN will tell you which # car it was off the assembly line.
