Can anyone expalin why my 1969 chevelle [baltimore buildsheet] has a slash then the letter P where it is customary to see 755 A or 756 interior code etc[Box #43 on buildsheet]...thanks !

Can't say why it would have it...what does the body plate say? Is there a 'standard' 756-A type code there or is it something like 756-988 indicating a different A-body (Olds, Buick, Pontiac, etc.) trim? It was fairly common on 68s around March/April due to Chevelle interior shortages. I've not heard of any such thing on 69s but anything is possible. What's the assembly date on the body plate and buildsheet?

Dale, what do the penciled in #s that precede the body # on balt buildsheets signify? I have 6 buildsheets[3 copos and 3 L78s,all 1969 baltimore chevelles] and 2 exactly match the dealer code and 4 are very close but not exact[coincidence???]...does anyone have similar data?? Also i noticed you have a copo buildsheet on your site that has the same slash in box 43 that i am describing.....
