correct reval.... distance between the door glass and the edge of the quarter glass chrome. In other words where is the glass supposed to sit on the quarter glass seal ???

I would assume though, that with a properly seated door window and quarter window and proper door gaps, that the proper distance between the two would be attained automatically. Get everything else where it should be and what's left may fall right where it needs to be.
Maybe someone with the same year car can give you a better estimate. Check the shows/cruises.

Ok, thanks for looking Lou... I was unable to find any measurements myself and there is some room to adjust that gap and still have a good seal.
