: Chewed up bronze distributor gear dadeo-3 Mar 25th, 09, 1:08 PM We have a couple hours on dad's new motor. The bronze distributor gear has been worn down very severely. He is running a comp cams roller. Perhaps it is one of the cams that should have a standard steel gear on it. Anybody else have trouble with a bronze gear on a comp cams roller cam? It is one of their 4/7 swap cams. Are you thinking it is one for use with a std steel gear?
