: decoding panel #ers on 66 Chevelle S/S

I have a question on what the last 2 digits refer to after the ID code. I have an end panel on a Fremont built 1966 Chevelle S/S that reads
#13817 T5 and the quarter panels are stamped #13817 Z5. Rocker panels are #13817 G5. Why the difference in the last 2 digits? and what is this telling me?

they are date codes the sheet metal was stamped out in the sheet metal stamping plant.
