All info points to 275 Hp full size car, But my father bought this car new and still owns it. is it possible?

I'd say not. More than likely the engine has been rebuilt/swapped for a later or different block. There were no 327/275s in 65 Elkys. The earliest HB coded Chevelle I show is a 69 350/300 w/TH350.
