huffhuff Mar 24th, 09, 8:44 AM i have a dealer emblem from Tucson I got in 1967. I don't remember the dealer name but will check when i get home from work tonight. its a flat metal that is screen printed and was stuck on with glue. I got it when I was in AIT at Ft. Huachuca.
Bill Pritchard Mar 25th, 09, 11:34 PM O'Reilly is still in business in Tucson. It's a long shot, but you might try calling their parts dept. and see if an emblem might still be available.
SSchevelle67396 Mar 26th, 09, 7:38 AM i have already talked to o'riellys. they don't have any vintage emblems. they sent me their current example, but definitely not 60's era. it is always a longshot to find something like this, 40+ years later. but i am hopeful someone might still have one. thanks to all....don

chef Apr 14th, 09, 8:15 PM I also live here in Tucson, a freind just acquired a 1958 Del Ray. It had an oriely tag on the back so I am pretty sure they had em in 1967. I need to go to the yard soon and will keep my eyes out for one. If you had a pic of what you needed that also may help a lot. Hope I can help you out. Chef
Stalkingbear Apr 14th, 09, 9:43 PM I have one for my '65 that was purchased at O'Reilly Chevrolet in Tucson. It will reside inside the glove box door. I carefully removed it when the color was changed inside and I will be putting it back on in the next few weeks. I'll try to get a picture of it for you... we lost our digital camera at Christmas and have not replaced it. If I can remember, I'll being a company one home and shoot it and post it for ya.
SSchevelle67396 Apr 15th, 09, 7:29 AM any pics you can post would be great! when you say inside the glove box door, are you saying it wasn't visible without the glove box open? how about anything on tailpanel? that is where i expected a cast pot metal emblem. thanks for your replies....don
Stalkingbear Apr 15th, 09, 10:04 AM It is a decal that states: For Service, Call O'Reilly Chevrolet with the required information. The car did not have any die cast dealer logo on it when I bought it.
