bill64elky Feb 16th, 99, 4:25 PM I have 64 El Camino with bench seat. I need seat belts for this vehicle. Where can I find seat belts. Actually I would like to install modern shoulder seat belts. Has anyone done this conversion and what do you use for the conversion. I don't have an answer for you on the shoulder harness setup. Bill JWagner Feb 17th, 99, 8:52 AM The tough part of the shoulder belt installation will be installing a very strong mount for the shoulder belt. it may be possible to find the mounting structure in a later GM car and install it into yours, but that would be a lot of work. And you had better hope that it is strong enough to do the job(sure hope you never have to put it to use!). | ||
