i have a tubro 400 that has been leaking out the bottom side of the tailshaft so i removed the bolts and pulled it off. the previous owner had hi temp gasket maker around it. i was wandering is there a gasket for it or do i just reapply some more gasket maker?

yes there is a gasket for the tailshaft housing.

The factory used a gasket, but if you don't have access to one, rtv will work fine. If you have any transmission shops in your area, they will probably have plenty of gaskets if you really want to install one.
