I posted last week asking if I would be able to install "original" 1972 Chevelle inner fenders (steel) with the fenders on. Well, I gave it an attempt, and I couldnt do it. Im wondering if they are really for a 1972. I was told that 68-72 were all the same, but I know my 72 had the plastic ones (passenger missing, driver still there).

Do these look right?

Sorry to say but, They are definitely not for a 68 to 72 Chevelle...:noway:

I just took mine off and those do not look like the ones I removed from my 72.

Now that I know Ive got the wrong ones, do I:

Buy a set of plastic?
Or
Buy the passenger side steel and keep the drivers plastic (for now, to get on the road, eventually replace the driver with steel)?

Why not just buy both, left and right? They would ship together, get there together. Packaged together the shipping should be less than having them shipped individually.
