I bought a 454 that is 40 over. only #'s on piston I can find is on inside of skirt #1448 in a circle w/ 03 under that. The #'s on the cam are cwc w/ 1.5 under it. Below the next lobe it has c4.On the opposite side it has 15 w/48 ,under that lobe it has d4.It looks to be a fresh rebuild,but no idea of cam and pistons ( other than they are flat tops.
Was 2bolt now 4 bolt w/ splayed caps. One head 781 casting the othe 049.
I will probably get aluminum heads so not to worried about heads. Bob

Piston looks like a cast Silvolite replacement piston.

Yup thats the piston.I'll check cam again,but I think the only other #'s were L 23 on the shaft at othe end.
