In my limited references I don't find a CMR, and a CM is a 1968 250 with a M/T either out of a Camaro or general Chevrolet. sapperox Apr 4th, 04, 9:19 PM Engine Casting numbers - GM3970014 G375 T7 CONV2 According to MORTEC it's a 70-76 350, which makes sense (Casting Date of July 3, 75). I pulled it from a 1965 C-10, but it was not the original and the guy I bought it from was clueless. The last two letters could be GM, but I don't know if that's a real code either! sapperox Apr 4th, 04, 9:46 PM Just did some more scratching on the block and sure enough came up with one more letter on the end, "J". For some reason, I can't put my finger on some oher books I had before I moved. I hate moving!
