Yes,a serious thread from me. The girl who never questions a package from UPS is going in for surgery tomorrow morning. She is a diabetic,which is nasty,especially when you hit 50. Hopefully what they are going to do tomorrow will be good enough to save her foot. It will be about a 6 hour operation. Your thoughts and prayers will be appreciated from my friends here. My dad is diabetic and he has feet problems too, his legs and feet burn like fire every day/night. No feeling from the knee down and now its going into his hands and arms

Is her suger level under control and has it been under control before having the surgery ? Dad needs a surgery but they will not operate with the suger levels going up one day and down the next,, It suggested anybody with suger levels high then going down to get the suger levels consistent before surgery

Be very carefull with her healing after surgery, Make sure she has anti-biotics for after the surgery as people who are diabetic dont heal quickly and can get infection easy - She is in our prayers

Yes her sugar levels are under control,as best as she can.She checks twice daily and keeps pretty close tabs on it. We know all too well about healing and infections. Thanks guys,keep you posted.:thumbsup:
