I have a pair of Hooker Super comp headers on my 65 with a 350. I bought the flowmaster 2.5" exhaust system and when I went to see how it would fit under my car, I was dissappointed to see that the pipes would not clear the crossmember. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you get around it?

I put the mandrel bent Flowmaster system on my '70........I had to have a muffler shop place a bend in the pipes to fit properly. Hopefully you can find a shop with the equipment to maintain the 2 1/2" free flowing pipes.
