have a 70 SS, trying to decode cowl tag. First line is easy, but second & third line reads:

07C
I know the trim code is black, but any way of knowing if it had bucket seats originally? How about the other numbers?

756 is the interior code for black vinyl buckets, the 50 is Yellow Beige paint (not sure about the "H"), and 07C is the build date for the body 07=July and C=third week.

thanks David...I think I found some of the information I was looking for in other headings. Think H after the 50 is Gold Vinyl Top on Gobi Beige. Correct?
