Hey guys, putting my car back together now that i got the engine broken in, and totally forgot what the vacuum line from the tranny goes to, and what it accomplishes. Is it essential to the tranny's operation? I barely even remember having this thing plugged in before. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need vacuum from the manifold to the modulator on the tranny to shift properly. It won't shift or it will shift at really high RPMs if you don't hook it up.

Do not drive unless it is hooked up. Could burn up the tranny

That same vacuum line was pinched on my car. The car shifted very hard and late at WOT.
Hook it up.

Without the vacuum line attached it will always shift like it is running at WOT, even when you are just cruising around.

Doh, well that is is something i need to use then. Alright. I have a Holley 3310, which vacuum port should this be hooked up to?
