I have a stock suspension and stock wheels on my 65 convertible. Although down the road I intend to put disc brakes on it when I go through the front end, for now I want to replace the wheels and tires. I don't really like the big wheel look but more the old school look like Crager SS, ET spokes, etc). What size wheels and tires will bolt on now without clearance problems (and with what offset) and will work when I put disc brakes on later?

I called driverz inc at driverzinc.com. and was very pleased. I wanted the widest tires I could fit in back with standard 65 wheelweld. Ended up with Foose Nitrous Legends 17 x 8with 4.5 offset and 255.245 r17 rear, 17 x 7 with 4 inch offset front 235/45 17 and I have disc. brakes. I suggest you contact them they will set you up with tires/wheels ready to put on delivered to your door "quick".
