A51D55D99M35
I believe its an Oshawa car, 246513 is sequence #, RR is red paint, but if i read the rest right is it a 6 cyl. bucket seat, console car what else can you guys help me with here, it also has the trim for a vinyl roof..........i'm baffled? Ralph

13617 is a V8 Malibu 2dr HT
1-12-14:
1=work shift?
12-14= Dec 14
9 in front of the paint code is supposed to indicate enamel paint
RR is all Bolero Red
763=Black Bucket seats
A51=Bucket seats
D55=Console
D99= 2 tone paint moldings(same as vinyl top)
M35=Powerglide trans
Seems like one of the paint colors is missing unless you could get the moulding by itself?

Thats what is so weird the car has the trim but not the second paint code. I thought 136... dictated a 6 cyl.?

Also wondering if a console came with a power glide? I am putting a 4 sp. in it.

135 is a 6cyl Malibu. The V8 body and tag may have been used for a 6cyl car in some years so the Vin number is the true verification.
Console was available with the auto trans.
Here is a link to Chevelle Stuff, there is a 66 Oshawa tag shown there that only has one color shown on the tag and D99 in the options list. Maybe Canada tags were different?
At least you can always get the original factory built information from GM Canada if you want it.
