Hello- Trying to get an idea on what to do w/ the Exterior color and interior color of my car?
It is a real 67 Chevelle SS #138 Vin..Would like to stay w/ 67 Colors- but may change.

Original colors are TT- Capri Cream w/ a Gold bucket seat interior. (No Vinyl top)

It is Not mathcing numbers- as the original engine was missing, but everything else is matching. will have a 68 -396 block w/ correct 67 heads.

If I keep the Gold Interior- Original- has anyone seen Tahoe Turquoise or Deep Water Blue metalic as a color combo, with the Gold interior?

I welcome your thoughts, and or any additional color combos. If I had a Vinyl top-Granada Gold would be a good option.

Thanks

Chris

Keeping that interior color does limit the options.. and not sure much will look good with the Gold interior short of white or black maybe

My buddy and long time member here JESSIE has thgis 66 SS with what might be close to what you are suggesting

black over gold sounds like a good combo to me. but you will need red line tires to really set it off

My uncle had a cream 67 SS with gold guts when I was about 12. It was a real L78, and was what turned me into a life-long Chevelle junkie. I've even considered changing one of my cars to that color combo as a tribute. So if I had yours I'd definitely leave it factory!!

But if you really want to change it and want something unique, go with madierra maroon with gold guts. Sounds weird on paper, but it was a factory 'recommended' combo and looks fantastic. The metal flakes in madierra marroon have a gold tint, and the gold interior brings the paint to life. (But I'd still leave it cream!!)
