Does any one have an older listing of the dealer codes (number assigned to a dealership)? A friend who is a Chevy Zone Sale Manager told me that several years ago (about 4), Chevy switched to a new numbering system. I am looking to track down the dealer # 12220 (maybe located in the Buffalo, NY area or was back in 1970). This is the dealership that my car was shipped to. I have tracked my car back as far a 1976 but the trail is lost due to NY not keeping old registrations.

Thanks for the info, however when I punched in the zone and the dealer number, nothing came up.
Anyone have the same numbers on their original window sticker?

I also have been looking to find the dealer my 72 SS was sold through. the GM of Canada doc's I received only says zone 44 dealer 350. I know zone 44 is in the Detroit area, but I can't seem to find who is dealer 350. I tried calling Chevrolet, the Detroit dealer association with no luck, so I know how you feel.

Mine was sold through zone 95, dealer 075. That same dealer was Incorporated in 1969 and became dealer 076 (still Wills Motors, Caledonia, Ontario, Canada). A single car showroom. I remember a Cutlass Supreme in 1970 in there, and then an Impala Custom Coupe. Dad's 3-in-the-tree, radio block-off, 6 cyl. was pretty humble but in like company. I remember lots of 292-powered trucks there. I still have a mailer from 1970 that outlined the emissions systems that GM developed. At that dealer in 1970 I saw a large poster version of that very same mailer, in the service area. It belongs on my wall in my garage.
