I am trying to find out the date on a small block chevy. I was able to find these numbers on the front of the engine near the head on the passenger side.

I think I got that right, anyways if someone could tell me what those mean, that would really help smile.gif

V - Flint Engine Plant
03 - March
18 - Day
UJB - 1980 Chevy 1 ton Van 350-155hp LT9 TH350 trans & 4bbl carb

CB4139746 is the VIN derivative
C - Chevrolet Truck Division of GM
B - 1981 model year truck
4 - Final assembly was in Orion Mich or Scarborough, Ontario
139746 - Production sequence number
