I had a set of the anti hop bars on a '65 and it would twitch and shift the rear end of the car upwards. It was funky to drive. It really only happened if I 'jumped' off the line (or stoplight) and the weight of the car shifted to the back.

i don't think the anti-hop bars and the anti-roll bars are made to work together.
anti-hop bars use the weight on rear of car to push down on the rear axle,
this happens from the rear of the car lifting up on acceleration,
and since the rear of the car is heavy this causes extra downforce on the rear axle.
the anti-roll bar connects the frame to the rear axle to limit axle to body twist
and vertical up/down movement.
i would remove the anti-hop bars and return the upper control arms to the stock positions.
this should solve the problem..... :)

the 68-gto has bigger wheelwells than my 68-velle.
the 15x10x5.5"bs. whould fit the best.
i've fit 10.5x28x15 et-drags under the wheelwell on mine with a 15x8x4.5bs.
this is a good amount of rubber and will make the engine snort when it hooks:thumbsup:
