Any owners of Chevelle's built at the Fremont Plant in California out there?

All of my Chevelles have come from the Fremont plant...

I still have two of them...

Where have you found your build sheets?

I haven't gone that far in my restos to really notice undercoating (all thought I only recall seeing it in the rear wheel wells, and not enough elsewhere to really notice). Undercoating would be a finally step, correct? I have never noticed it on the tank, the frame areas, or the main floor...

I hope to get under one of mine in the next month ofr so for some cleanup, and I will know more then...

Of all the Chevelles I have owned, I have never found a built sheet (of course, in alot of them I wasn't looking.

My latest project, I even pulled the tank and headliner but noting (the original seats were long gone...).

Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

My 67 Elky (http://www.dalesplace.com/images/camino/p000845.jpg) is a Fremont product

Both of my Elky's are Fremont built. There is undercoat up in the rear wheel wells only...no where else. No build sheets have been found after taking both apart....bummer.

I doubt they called it undercoat, more like sound deadening.

My '69 Malibu was assembled at the Freemont plant. I haven't gone that far in my resto yet...soon though! It's build sheet was under the rear passenger side carpet and insulation.

Of the 5 Fremont built 67 Chevelles I've owned, there was only undercoating in the rear wheel wells. The build sheet I found was under the sound deadending material under the carpet and padding on the drivers side in back. However, I only removed the sound deadening material on one car. So, the others may have had them, but it was not nessesary to remove it, so I never found the build sheets.

Cleaning up my Chevelle (project) this weekend, and no sign of any undercoating besides the rear wheelwells...
