0953 decodes as:
095=day of year.
3=Final digit in year manufactured.
If this carb has the correct Part number for your engines application,then this would be considered NOT an Assembly componet,but rather a later Service replacement for your 1967 Vehicle.

Happen to have the Holley 'List' number or the GM 7-digit part number on it?
